グローバル人材教育プロジェクトin香港
I was accepted into the Waseda International Student House (WISH) dormitory as a Freshman. Every semester, out of 900 students in the dormitory, 20 students who regularly participate in the Social Intelligence Program (SI Program) and who show leadership and communication skills are chosen to go on the SI Award Program. At the end of my first semester in WISH, I was chosen to go on the "Creating Global Talent in Hong Kong Project"(グローバル人材教育プロジェクトin香港) where we were split into groups and were given the task of creating an idea to help Hong Kong University students in job hunting. My team came up with the idea to give university students a "passport" to visit companies, after researching and interviewing Hong Kong University students on how job hunting works in Hong Kong and the struggles they face. All the teams were mixed with Japanese and international students, and while many teams had a hard time communicating in English and Japanese, my team members were very supportive and we used our language abilities the best we could so each team member played a part in the research and final presentation, which led to my team winning first place.
