MGM Resorts And Marriott International Announce Agreement
Marriott International and MGM Resorts International announced an exclusive long-term strategic licensing agreement and the creation of an MGM collection with Marriott Bonvoy to be released in October 2023, encompassing MGM's 17 unrivaled resorts representing more than 40,000 rooms in Las Vegas and other cities across the United States. Starting in October, several MGM collections with Marriott Bonvoy Resort will be available for booking on Marriott's powerful digital platforms, including Marriott.com and the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app, with all accommodations expected to be available by the end of the year. Members of Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott's award-winning loyalty platform with more than 180 million members worldwide, can earn and redeem accommodation points from any MGM collection with Marriott Bonvoy accommodation. A familiar brand on the new stage Among the 17 MGM Resorts joining the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, Bellagio Resorts & Casino will join the Luxury Collection, Aria Resorts & Casino will join the Autograph Collection, Park MGM will be part of the Tribute portfolio, and Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas will continue to join the Autograph Collection. Eight MGM resorts in Las Vegas will join Marriott Bonvoy in the MGM collection: Vdara Hotel & Spa, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, NoMad Las Vegas, The Signature at MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, New York-New York Hotel & Casino, Luxor Hotel and Casino, and Excalibur Hotel and Casino. BetMGM further strengthens Marriott Bonvoy membership benefits Marriott International also entered into a loyalty marketing agreement with BetMGM, MGM Resorts International's online gaming and sports betting joint venture, enabling Marriott Bonvoy to become BetMGM's exclusive US and Canadian hospitality loyalty program partner. Under the agreement, Marriott and BetMGM will work together to provide Marriott Bonvoy members with the opportunity to earn Marriott Bonvoy points on certain BetMGM deals and participate in exclusive games, experiences and offers on the BetMGM platform. BetMGM Rewards members will also have the opportunity to exchange BetMGM Rewards points for Marriott Bonvoy points, with more detailed collaborations available this fall.
