IBK renews contract with director Kim Hochul
IBK Industrial Bank of Korea and head coach Kim Ho-chul will continue to accompany them. IBK Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) announced on Wednesday that it would renew its contract with Kim Ho-chul, the women's team in the V-League of Professional Volleyball. Kim Ho-chul took the helm of IBK ahead of the 2021-2022 season, and his contract expired at the end of this season. However, IBK has given Kim the heavy task of recreating past glory. "Coach Kim Ho-cheol quickly stabilized the team by communicating with players based on his warm leadership," IBK Industrial Bank of Korea said. "He settled down IBK's unique team color, including strengthening systematic defense and blocking. Through customized guidance, he also worked hard to nurture young players and contributed to strengthening the team's power," he said, introducing the background of renewing the contract. Coach Kim Ho-cheol said, "I am grateful to the club for giving me another opportunity. I will do my best to help IBK Industrial Bank regain its glory," expressing his feelings about renewing the contract.
