なにをやっているのか

八楽が提供しているのは、生成AIを搭載した翻訳ツール「ヤラク翻訳」です。自社開発の翻訳エンジンが、使えば使うほど専門用語や業界特有の言い回しを「学習」し、自分にあった翻訳結果を一発表示するように「成長」します。 PDFやパワーポイント、ワードファイルなどをアップロードすればそのまま翻訳してくれる機能も備えた翻訳ツールです。 35以上の言語に対応。国内外の大手や中小企業1000社以上に導入事例があり、製品マニュアルや契約書のドラフト、IR文書の英語化といった場面で使われています。

なぜやるのか

言語の壁で世界に出ていくことを諦めて欲しくない。個人も企業も。日本の企業、とくに中小企業が海外との異文化のコミュニケーションを増大させていくことで、新たなビジネスチャンスを生み出すと信じています。障壁を感じることなく自由にコミュニケーションができる世界。生成AI搭載翻訳サービス「ヤラク翻訳」でその世界に一歩でも近づけていきたいと思っています。

八楽には、大切にしている6つの価値観があります。そのうち「メンバーの多様性」と「時間や場所に縛られない」の2つは特に大切にしている価値観です。多様性は国籍だけでなく、ワークスタイルや働く場所など様々な面からの多様性を意識し、完全リモートワークの実施によって居住地は日本国内どこでもOKとしています。自分のライフスタイルに合わせて働く時間も自主性に任せています。こうした価値観が優秀なメンバーを引き寄せ、八楽は結果を出し続けています。メンバーの半数以上が外国籍であることは、働く場所として八楽の魅力が日本人だけでなく外国籍の方にも伝わっている証拠と言えるでしょう。開発チームはほぼ全員が外国籍社員です。言語学・自然言語処理技術・各種開発経験のあるスタッフが世界中から集まっています。技術力の高さは大手企業にも引けを取りません。
